Jess Pemberton from our design team has thought of some great ideas for crafty spring projects. Pick your favourite and have a go!
EGG DECORATING:

Go for yolk with a bit of egg art. Wash and dry a raw egg well, then shake it to break the yolk. Using a long needle, gently pierce a hole in the pointier end of the egg. Do the same to the other end, making a slightly larger hole. Over a bowl, blow through the small hole until all of the egg white and yolk comes out. When the egg is hollow, run a thin stream of water into the larger hole until the water runs clear, let it dry and get painting!
We’ve painted ours in Cath Kidston prints, but the only limit is your imagination.
TIP: Put your decorative efforts on show by suspending painted eggs from branches in a vase.
GLASS BULBS:

This is a sweet idea for a spring table or just to keep on a windowsill to brighten up a room. Fill a clean jam jar, vase or glass 3/4 of the way with soil. Insert a bulb (we used narcissi and hyacinths) with its pointed end up. Surround the bulb with more soil until it is 2/3 covered. Water regularly and keep in a well lit area and you should see blooms within a few weeks.
